“Master Robert” Doll (Robert De Cevrieux) Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Description

This doll was made after a painting by John Singer Sargent of a boy named Robert De Cevrieux and his puppy.
It was made in 1997 exclusively for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The doll is made of cloth and wearing a blue velvet jacket and pants, satin collar with red bow tie, red socks and black vinyl shoes. He is holding his dog which is made of felt.
He stands approximately 9” tall.
Pre-owned in very good condition with no tears or repairs and has his original tag.
He comes from a smoke-free pet-free home.
