    Description

    Possibly Sterling Silver?
    It took me a a while to search and figure out exactly what this is... Ha!  It is a folding(like a pocketknife) shoe~boot~button~lace puller.  The silver metal hand tool features a ornate raised decoration with detail of a tall bird(heron?)  It measures a little under 2 1/2" long and is just 1/2" wide.  There are two(2) separate size hooks to select from.  I do not see any maker's mark but I could be missing it.  I have not cleaned this up at all, leaving it to its original patina.  Certainly unique!
