  • Condition: Ordinary age and wear to the surface of the actual shoe horn component. The metal collar segment onto which the figural duck head is attached is aged. Label still attached with some signs of wear. From clean and healthy smoke free and pet free home.

    Description

    Age undetermined but very nice vintage related condition (please read comments above).  Overall length approximately 22". The Duck Head Handle has amazing detail and looks carved but "may be cast" from a composite material which looks like bakelite.  The Duck has glass eyes, a leather hang strap, a spring-like section provides a little flexibility when used, the tongue of the shoe horn looks like it was made of some form of plastic that looks similar to bakelite in our opinion.  The handle, carved from hard wood to resemble bamboo. The label still attached reads " MADE IN ITALY ORIGINAL".
