Description

The actual stationary paper itself is 6”x9”, but, it had been in a folded and taped position for a long time. The stationary paper has yellowed over the years and a couple of pieces of scotch tape remain, as well as, old tape marks. It has some some severe creases too. The inexpensive frame is 8”x10” but it actually suits it well, in my opinion.
Anyhow, one may say that the overall condition is rough, which it is, but I think these issues also lend a hand to it’s age.
Additionally, if someone wanted to they could just frame/mat the best portion of it.
Update 8/13/20:
I had a chance to take it to an auction house in between the original listing and now. They couldn’t confirm it was actually his. They said it could be his secretary’s signature, as was common-place. I told them it looked closer to his younger military signature but still can’t confirm if he was using different signatures or if it was just a secretary’s signature, as the auction house suggested.
