    William Brooks Bristol, Yale 1825 (born in New Haven, Conn., in 1806, died in New
    Haven, Conn., in 1876), was a lawyer, the son of William Bristol, Yale 1798
    (died March 7, 1836), a lawyer by profession, afterwards a judge of the Superior Court
    of Connecticut, and subsequently one of the judges of the Supreme Court of Errors of
    Connecticut. He was also a judge of the United States District Court over the District of
    Connecticut, and was the son of Simeon Bristol, Yale 1760, who died in 1805.
