    This auction is for an old and original 1913 handwritten letter from Orin Hoover of the United StatesCourts, Judge's Chambers, Portland, Maine. It is to his friend, Howard Young of Hancock, Maine sending congratulations on his recent marriage. Orin speaks of spending a winter with Howard in Room 23 and hopes his marriage is as " mutually congenial as that"... Letter and its envelope are both dated May 20, 1913 and are in very good condition. The envelope has a George Washington 1 cent postage stamp.
