Ohio Senator and war of 1812 Joseph Kerr 1817 Chillicothe Ohio (Capital of Northwest Territory and First Capital of Ohio 1803) Document.
General Joesph Kerr was a moving part in helping Ohios statehood and early politics. He worked along side other notable figures in the movement such as Gov. Thomas Worthington , Nathaniel Massie and William Creighton Jr and Edward Tiffin. He played an important role in the War of 1812 in charge of supplying provisions to the Army of the Northwest.
