James A. Rhodes
(1909-2001) He was an American attorney and Republican politician
who served as the 61st and 63rd Governor of Ohio from 1963-71 and
from 1975-83. Rhodes was one of only seven U.S. governors to serve
four four-year terms in office. Typed letter signed, October 22, 1969,
regarding the Boy Scouts, accompanied by another typed letter signed,
April 26, 1971, granting permission to publish the previous letter.
