City of New Haven CT Connecticut 1892. Lists of the offices of the city government; Message of His Honor the Mayor; Annual Reports of the City Departments and Public Documents. THERE ARE CONDITION ISSUES: Spine is disconnected from front cover, pages 11 & 12 are missing (some others may be, but I haven’t seen where); other sections of pages are loose. HOWEVER… this is history that exceeds 130 years!
Please feel free to ask for more pics. There are listings of Police, Fire, Judicial, Common Council, Aldermanic Chambers, Public Parks, Supervisor of Steam Boilers, Committee on Lamps, etc. etc. Some of the reports include budgets and salaries as well. (Frank W. Wright, the Health Officer, was paid 00.00. H.J. Cox was paid for meteorological reports). A fabulous historical record.
