ITEM INFORMATION
Hey there, up for auction is a James Mitchell Ashley autograph cut. The cut is adhered to a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of black scrapbook paper (the same size as a standard trading card) that is then adhered to a piece of white cardstock (the same size as a standard trading card).
This autograph came from the personal collection of Horatio King, Postmaster General of the United States under President James Buchanan in 1861. The collection consisted primarily of cut signatures from US Congressmen, Senators, and Buchanan Presidential Cabinet members cut from free frank envelopes from 1858-1861 (parts of the 35th-37th US Congress).

All autographs and trading cards will shipped in a sleeve and toploader.  The toploader will be secured with cardboard padding and shipped in a bubble mailer.
