VICTORIAN CELLULOID VANITY CHEST - ANGELO ASTI LADIES.   I have been retired for years but my husband wants to retire in the spring and he is talking about downsizing which makes sense since the grandkids no longer care to sleep over at grandmas…lol. I told him I was ready to let go of some of my treasures. I have so much and am excited to move them to new homes where they can be proudly displayed.  I will be selling lots of my Victorian prized collection.  The best of the best collected over many years.  My items include musical celluloid photo albums, music boxes, guilloche enameled items, jeweled perfumes, celluloid jewelry and vanity boxes, gutta percha items, many gorgeous chimney flue, antique lithography, and some rare unique celluloid items.  Check back often.
DESCRIPTION:  This is one of my favorite celluloid vanity chests, filled with glass perfumes, celluloid nail items and hand mirrors and a boar bristle brush.  Top opens and front doors open and there is a bottom drawer for pocket watch and jewels.  All clasps present and working.  Box nice and sturdy.  Inside silk lining has some minor stains and very faint thinness.  15”x16” in size.  The two front pictures are from famous artist Angelo Asti and are highly sought after.  The top ladies are on a swing.  Sides and feet are covered in paper and have some worn areas. The mirrors have clouding but no cracks or breaks.  One of the hand mirrors has a hairline on handle   The celluloid is in excellent condition with only a couple tiny flakes on bottom. See picture.
