HIRAM L FONG AUTOGRAPH SIGNED 1964 FDC COVER 1ST CHINESE AISIAN AMERICAN SENATOR

Description

Philatelist Robert Leskiewicz of Euclid(Cleveland), Ohio combined his love for first day and event covers with his desire for political autographs and here is an item from his collection!  He would select covers from his collection that perhaps fit in some way to the person whose signature he desired, then mail the cover in and hopefully by return mail get his autograph.  Offered here is a HIRAM L. FONG autograph on a 1964 first day cover.  Fong was a Hawaii senator for many years.   Autograph was probably applied around 1971.  The address label was removed, leaving a mark on cover.  Very colorful and unusual items that would surely add zest to a collection!
