    Helen Louise Froelich Holt (1913–2015) was an American politician from the state of West Virginia. She served as the Secretary of State of West Virginia from 1957 to 1959, making her the first woman to hold statewide office in West Virginia. She also served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1955 to 1957. Holt was married to Senator Rush D. Holt, Sr. from 1941 until his death in 1955 and was the mother of New Jersey U.S. Representative Rush D. Holt, Jr.
