George H. Lamy “For Sheriff” 1892 Election Campaign Card w/ Photograph

Election campaign political card for “George H. Lamy”.
Light weight cardboard.  Measures approximately 2 1/4” x 4”.  No tears or obvious folds.  There is a pin size hole at the center top.  Aging area noted.
George was 46 at the time of this campaign.
He was born in 1846 in Erie County and in 1892 he ran for sheriff in Buffalo.  He was defeated.
Prior to that he spent two years out West on the construction of the Union Pacific Railroad and was present at the driving of the Golden Spike.
