The Late, Great, Philadelphia Mayor Frank Rizzo Autographed
8" X 10" Glossy Photo from the 1970's.
This is a rare and iconic photo of what many feel is the best Mayor the city of Philadelphia ever had.
The condition is what I consider very good. There are some slight "crinkles" in the lower right-hand side that can be seen in the third photograph.
And some minor wrinkles in the lower left hand side. Framed this fantastic photograph will look spectacular.
This vintage gem has vibrant color and is signed with a blue marker, "Tom Best wishes Frank Rizzo". My Uncle Tom passed years ago, and my Father had this photograph in with his belongings.
Frank always took the time to show his appreciation to all the people, and of course those that helped get him elected. My Uncle worked for Mayor Rizzo on all of campaigns.
Sadly my Father passed away in May, and I will be listing more fantastic pieces of Philadelphia History.
I have many more boxes to go thru
but I know there will be some US Naval memorabilia from the 1940's and I do have some classic albums listed that he enjoyed.
Any inscription, of a glossy color photo with Mayor Rizzo's signature is quite a valuable item and hold's significant value.
If your name is Tom this is a tremendous pick up of a fantastic piece of Philadelphia history.
I would use "white out" if the inscription
to the name of Tom is something you wish not to see.
This would make a wonderful present for Dad or Granddad.
