Francis Biddle - FDR’s Attorney General/Am. Judge @ Nuremberg Trials/Signed NoteFrancis Beverley Biddle (1886-1968) - American lawyer and judge who was the U.S. Attorney General during World War II . He also served as the primary American judge during the postwar Nuremberg Trials as well as a United States Circuit Judge of the Court of Appeals for the Third District.
6.7” x 7” on his personal stationary, autograph note, February 28, 1948, signed in fountain pen. Transmittal folds and a few light creases, otherwise fine.
This is from an extensive 50 year collection covering all categories, that was built from the 1940’s through the 1980’s.
