    Description

    Hugo Lafayette Black [1886 1971] was a jurist and politician from Alabama who was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as a Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States and served from 1939 until his death in 1971. He is considered one of the most influential Supreme Court justices in the 20th century and was the 5th longest serving justice of the court. Listed for auction is the autograph of Hugo Lafayette Black signed on a card which is affixed with a vintage U.S postage stamp. The autograph is signed ''Hugo L. Black'' in black fountain pen and the card measures 5.00 x 3.00 inches and is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic and the card is a nice example of this noted jurist and is ideal for display. We have listed a nice collection of military, aviation and astronaut autographs.
