AMERICAN CHARACTER 1960 LITTLE GIRL TOODLES 30'' DOLL PLAYPAL PEEK A BOO EYES

30" Toodles, made in 1960, was thought to be made to compete with Ideals Patti Playpal.  Both dolls are adorable and   have beautiful clothing, Toodles has flirty follow me eyes and is usually seen in her Sunday Best outfit. I have found an adorable, very similar dress with French Entredeaux, made a sweet crinoline slip for fullness and panties to match. The ID book said she wore a POKE bonnet which I spent this rainy Sunday making and it is really adorable on her, made of straw trimmed with wide satin streamers, lace to match the dress and sweetheart roses. She also wears leather buckle up shoes and lacy socks;
Like most of these dolls her beautiful eyes have yellowed slightly on the white but Irises very clear blue. The entire body is in great condition. No splits or loose limbs.
