WILLIAM F. BUCKLEY, JR. (1925-2008) WAS INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN
As the ultra-conservative intellectual commentator and writer and founder of The National Review magazine--he was also quite well known as an avid seafarer and owned several fine boats during his lifetime.  This letter, on the letterhead of NATIONAL REVIEW Magazine, William F. Buckley, Jr., Editor-in-Chief , was written to Don G. Watkins in Miami, an international broker in fine boats.  Buckley was seeking information on a 1961 Sparkman and Stephens 51-foot Ketch that Watkins advertised for sale in a boating magazine.  Signed by William Buckley in his modest hand, and in his traditional red ink.  Very good condition, already 54 years old!!  BUY IT NOW AND GET FREE SHIPPING!!
