LAWRENCE F. O'BRIEN Postmaster General
SIGNED PHOTO... Inscribed to seller!!
Important figure in Watergate affair!!!
I was only 13 in 1965. when I was fortunate enough to visit Washington D.C. in another era,
when a kid like me could wander about.
I was a big stamp collector back then, and I went to the Postmaster's Office... amazingly,
O'Brien was there, and was quite friendly.
He had just been appointed Postmaster General by President Johnson.
He whipped out this photograph and signed it to me as a keepsake...
I am Bob Wishoff.
I would not be selling this, but I need the money to pay off a 30K Grad School tuition bill!
You won't find another signed photo of O'Brien of this vintage... I've only seen one other
(given to the kid who went with me at the time), and it's not for sale.
You likely know O'Brien's long public service (politics, government, NBA Commissioner--
it was his office the Watergate burglars broke into!),
but if you want  a refresher, Google his name!!!
