1931 Democratic Party Cook County Endorsement Anton Cermak Mayor We Know Him

Offering a vintage original 1931 Democratic Party of Cook County IL 4 page endorsement ("We Know Him") and single page insert for A. J. Cermak for Mayor of Chicago. Endorsement is marked on front cover 3-28-31 in pencil and measures 8 1/2" x 11". On the second page it speaks about how good his business abilities are, his political wisdom, experience and in general how good of a politician Anton Cermak is and how he backed up the Democratic Party. Endorsement has a list of officials elected under his guidance.
Pages 3 and 4 have signatures from Democratic members, judges, and politicians endorsing the letter. These signatures are not originals.
The insert page is a typed letter from the Managing Committee of the Democratic Party of Cook County endorsing A. J. Cermak for mayor. It states in various wording on Feb 24th (year of 1931 not stated) you need to elect A. J. Cermak for mayor. As quoted from insert:
You started right a year ago; keep up the fight. The issues now are the same as they were then - unemployment, prohibition, and high taxation.
This 4 page endorsement with insert was folded to fit into an envelope as evidenced by crease. The insert has mild edge wear. The 4 page endorsement has evidence of bug damage on side and top margins as shown in pictures. Paper has yellowed with age.
