Vintage Antique 350 Page Hardcover "The Almond Tree" Book by Grace Zaring Stone measures approximately 5-1/2" x 8-1/8", and features a beautiful embossed design on the cover, along with title and author.  A full page description of the book and price which are printed on the first page are similar in style to the inner flyleaf of a dust jacket.  The
Vintage Antique Book is a marked First Edition, copyright 1931, published by The Bobbs-Merrill Company.
Of note is a bookplate inside the front cover which includes the following:

The name Newton D. Baker is also written in pencil at the top of the first page.
Newton D. Baker was an early progressive Democrat who served as Mayor of Cleveland in the 1910's; Secretary of War under Woodrow Wilson during World War I; and one of the founding partners of the Baker & Hostetler law firm.
The Vintage Antique Book is in Very Good to Excellent Condition for its Considerable Age, with only very minor edge or spine wear, and as noted.  Please see accompanying photographs.
